For such a time as this. This is why we were called home, and one of the reasons why my heart seems to never catch a break from the sorrow. The doctors have given up treatment of the cancer our father has and have now recommended hospice care. Unless the Lord wishes to show His glory through the miraculous healing of our father, then He has called him home instead. I praise my God for He is good. He has brought us home at the right time to handle all the care our dad is going to need.
My heart still aches with sorrow, but today I feel a bit better for I am able to write to you why I have such sorrow. He is such a gentle man, full of love, grace and service. We love you, dad/grandpa
abeoji and amonei (dad and mom)
Dad loves to play the piano and sing hymns. I love this about him.
I have many fond memories of him lifting songs of praise to our God.

Wow, this is hard. Glad he'll be free of pain when God calls him to heaven, but sad for you here. We're never ready to lose our parents. Praying for you right now!
