This video strikes me in several ways. The Hallelujah Chorus is such a mighty powerful work of art. It is beautiful, yes, but much more than just beautiful to listen to. It's the story of Christ through old and new testament and ends with the second coming of our Savior. It glorifies and sings praises to our Lord for His victory over sin and death and His coming back to earth to create a new earth and establish His new kingdom. What a gift, that God himself would humble himself, come down to earth to be the last and final sacrifice of all the sacrifices that were made after the Passover. To save us. Christ is the bridge we take to walk over that chasm that separates us from God. God is perfect, sinless. He can not be around sin, it's against His nature. But He created us. He loves us. He wants us to have a relationship with Him and in order to do that, we need to be purified and cleansed. Can't clean something with something that is dirty itself, so the sinless had to do it. A God who is willing to send his son (God come to earth in human form) to die and pay the high price for our sin. (Pride is our downfall) So we can be with Him. That is the definition of AWESOME. That's what AWESOME really means. I am in awe.
On a second note, how cool this event took place in a department store. We surround ourselves with things and indulgences of this world and drown out the knockings on our souls. Listen Babylon... listen and wake up.
