Major attacks to believers on this base

Okay, so we are in spiritual warfare and we need to be on our guard at all times.

Ephesians 6:12
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."

Now I finally understand the phrase, pray without ceasing.  I used to think, "How can I pray all the time?  Is that possible?"   Well, it is and especially when we are being tried and tested.  God sustains us when it's needed.  He is my portion, I shall not want.

My help comes from You, maker of heaven.  Creator of the earth.  Oh how I need you Lord, You are my only hope, You're my only prayer.  So I will wait for You, to come and rescue me, come and fill me up.

Our Wing Chaplain's wife went to the hospital yesterday with abdominal pain and found out she has stage 4 cancer.  (Update) I'm hearing conflicting stories on where the cancer is so I'll just leave that alone for now. 
We are praying and seeking God's face.

She has a daughter who is 6 today.  She had her birthday party on Saturday which Kiersten was invited to and was a blessing to both the little girls and their mothers; so God honoring.  You would have been blessed to be there, too.

There are some other things going on that I can't share, but it's a downright vicious attack on the believers here on this base.  God is teaching us something here and we need to wait on Him and be still.  I also feel him calling me to take action.  And that's what I'm doing.  We are one body to serve one another in love.  

Praise be to God.  To God be the glory forever and ever!  He is victorious over all!
