A Snag of Trouble...

Okay, so get this...
We received or 6 out of 7 crates of stuff yesterday (afternoon) and we were so excited.  The movers didn't arrive till 3 pm, but worked fast and got our stuff into the house quickly.
However, when the movers from Chicago boxed all our stuff up and fit it into crates, they had to fit the pieces into them like a giant 3D puzzle.  So, bits and pieces of every piece of our furniture was placed in in almost every crate.  So... the one crate we don't have here has some pieces of all our furniture, and it's not here.  It's somewhere else, possibly on a boat, possibly lost.  We can't build any of our beds, our couch has only half the cushions, and my and the boys' desk is half here.  We can't use them.  We have bits and pieces of furniture just sitting waiting for the rest to come.  On the bright side, I am just so grateful for everything that did arrive safely.  Our house is looking more like a home after all the sorting and unpacking we did the last day and a half.  I'm content.  A little flustered, but nothing I can't cope with and my heart is happy.  I'm making it work.
Oh, and during the move yesterday, we had friends take good care of us.  Some brought food, another took the kids for the afternoon and all were excited for us.  It's a good day!

The one thing I was most excited to see... Kiersten's Zebra.  Once they unwrapped it from the paper, I took it and hugged it and brought it inside.  I'm not exactly sure why I was so excited for that zebra, but Bogie remarked that I was excited for Kiersten; I thought it was because it was feeling like "home" again.
