That is my goal. To live my life as Daniel from Babylon did. To keep you up to speed, I'm doing a Beth Moore study on the book of Daniel and it is rocking my world. God was prodding me gently to take this study and I had my reservations about it and almost passed it up. However, I proved obedient to that prodding (long story) and I'm so thankful I did.
Last spring, I took a personality profile during the women and girls retreat at VCBC (Village Creek Bible Camp) and found out that, "Beth Moore studies are not for you." "Don't feel bad that you could never get through one." Well, God has proved it wrong because this study is the most amazing bible study I have ever taken. Now I'm not saying it's been easy for me to get through it, and I've had days where I wait to the last minute to do it, but I'm doing it and learning a ton. I have always been fascinated with the book of Daniel and have read it several times on my own, but never fully understood the impact this book has. It's powerful and awesome. The knowledge I have come away with is phenomenal and I have been blessed 10 fold and I'm not even finished with it. I can't wait to see the healing and restoration God has already started and wants to keep going with in my life. Praise God for His awesome kindness!
